I worked at Cross Brothers until they closed 11/1979. Owner Sam Cross & his son Bernie were great owners. Recently Drove by 3600 North Front St then down Veneto St to where thier huge warehouse was. I put in a service for a sawdust company that purchased the old warehouse but was too cheap to get the existing sprinkler pipes connected and they had a major fire less then two years later. The Hotel supply building is gone.
